Emakin user interface is generally divided into three main areas.
1 - Top bar
The top bar permanently displays the logged in user, a notifications button, and a help shortcut pointing to Emakin’s online documentation. The remaining space is reserved for dynamically displaying context sensitive controls, dependent on the content of the workspace.
2 - Sidebar
The sidebar is essentially a navigation menu, ensuring easy access to all major Emakin functionalities. Sometimes the sidebar is collapsed automatically to maximise the workspace area and focus the user’s attention on the task he’s working on.
3 - Workspace
The workspace is the most important area. Its content is highly dynamic, constantly adjusting to whatever work the user is performing.
