Document folder is a directory containing related documents in the Emakin. The left side of the screen contains the navigation menu for folders. 

To add the document folder, click on all folders and then add new and choose the folder type of document.

Managing a Folder

The folder toolbar is used to manage the folder properties. This toolbar is only visible when you have a 'write access' for the respective folder.

New Folder
Creates a new folder in the current folder with the specified name.

Edit
Changes the folder name with the specified name.

Delete
Delete the folder.

Permissions

Allows editing [[access control list|Security]] of the current folder. The access control list specifies who can access the folder and which permissions they have. Folder permissions can be specified as:

Security Profile
Security profile is used to give permission to a particular Identity for reaching the related folder. If a security group doesn't exist, system uses the default group. 

Identity
Identity specifies the responsible person, unit or a group.

Permissions
Permission specifies the authorization level of Identity. There are four authorization levels which are Read, Execute, Write and All.

  • Read allows user to see folders, contents inside and start tasks.
  • Execute grants the same permissions a process administrator has. Users with this permission can execute any action provided to process administrators such as configuring the settings page of a process.
  • Write allows user to access the process design screen and make changes on it.
  • All permission consists of all three permissions listed above.

Clicking the little downward arrow next to the Identity selection, a field opens up with a details panel that consists of the three subtitles. Those are "type", "begins at" and "expires at".

  • Type consists of the two options for managing identity's permission. Those are allow and deny.
  • Begins At (optional), start date of a permission period.
  • Expires At (optional), end date of a permission period.

It is chapter of adding documents.

Profile
The documents general information enter the profile field.
