You can set the application’s general settings in this section. These settings mainly consist of domain properties, static and market site URLs, and system administrator e-mail address. These settings have to be filled in when installing Emakin for the first time.

Details

Title

Enter a display name for the application. It will be displayed on the browser tab when the site is opened. If no title is specified, the application URL is displayed by default.

System Administrator E-Mail

Enter the system administrator's e-mail address to notify via e-mail when an error occurs in the application.

On Standard domain-level applications, both interface and process-related errors are notified to this e-mail. On other types of domain levels, only interface errors are sent to this e-mail, and process-related errors are sent to Administrators group members.

Static URL

When hosting multiple subdomains on a single application, another site must be configured to connect Emakin's static content with the main site.

Use the main access URL when there is only a subdomain on the application.

Market URL

Enter the market URL to download apps from the app market.

Mobile Push URL

Specifies the gateway application URL for mobile-related push notifications. If you don't install any push application leave it empty.

Mobile Push Strategy

Specifies the handling method of notification as follows;

  • Desktop First; Try to send a desktop (standard computer) notification and if succeeds ignore the mobile notification.

  • Desktop Only; Always use desktop notifications and do not send mobile notifications.

  • All; Try to use all of the desktop and mobile notifications.

  • Disabled; No not send any notification.

Incoming Mail (SMTP) Domain

Specifies the SMTP host address for auto-generated e-mail addresses for channels.

When this property is set you also need an MX record must be added to your DNS servers to resolve as an SMTP server.

For example for a “CRM” channel emakin automatically generates the “crm-567EB3C7EBECEA23FDA54CFBEED4C8A8@smtp.emakin.com” address. In this address format “crm-567EB3C7EBECEA23FDA54CFBEED4C8A8” specifies the address of the CRM channel and this domain property specifies the “smtp.emakin.com” part of the e-mail address.

Default Domain Level

Domain level indicates the features you are provided with your Emakin license. There are five domain levels, those are:

  • Standard

  • OEM

  • Developer

  • Publisher

  • Enterprise

Domain Expiration Period

Specifies the time period for Emakin to flag this domain as inactive and automatically delete all of its content if no activity is recorded in this period. The default value is 365 days.
