User Interface Layout

1 - Top bar

The top bar permanently displays the logged-in user, a notifications button, and a help shortcut pointing to Emakin’s online documentation. The remaining space is reserved for dynamically displaying context-sensitive controls, dependent on the content of the workspace.

2 - Sidebar

The sidebar is essentially a navigation menu, ensuring easy access to Emakin’s all major functionalities. On occasion, the sidebar is collapsed automatically to maximize the workspace area and focus the user’s attention on the task he/she’s working on. These include the Home Page, Worklist, Channels, Direct Messages, Calendar, Folders, Administration, and the Market.

3 - Workspace

The workspace is the most important area. Its content is highly dynamic, constantly adjusting to whatever work the user is performing.

The user interface is generally divided into three main sections.
